Join us at the 4th Annual Tasting with Topsail. Tickets are $25.00 per person in advance and can be purchased at the Chamber office, 13775 Hwy 50, Ste 101 in Surf City; at A Beach Place Realty, Surf City; Island Treasures, Topsail Beach and Coldwell Banker Coastline Realty, Sneads Ferry. Tickets will be $30.00 per person at the door. The first 150 to purchase tickets are guaranteed a souvenir wine glass. Country Squire Winery, Silver Coast Winery, Chatham Hill Winery, Renwood Winery, Dionysus Distributer, Empire Distributer and Swing Bridge Beer and Wine will be pouring samples of their finest wines. When you find something you like, you can purchase a bottle or two or three. Enjoy sampling the tasty tidbits from the Brass Pelican, North Shore Country Club, New York Corner Deli, Bumblebee Market, Breezeway Restaurant, Rick’s Restaurant and Beauchaines 211. Randy O and his mellow acoustic guitar will be providing music. We have some absolutely fabulous door prizes including wine boxes made especially for this event from McLean Precision Cabinetry in Sneads Ferry; rounds of golf from Belvedere Country Club and Topsail Greens Golf Club in Hampstead. Local crafters will be on hand with samples of their talent on display and for sale. This will be a great way to relax and enjoy yourself before the season starts in earnest.

Vacation Was Great on Topsail Island !!

Topsail Chamber of Commerce,

I just wanted to pass on from my wife and myself as well as my extended family of parents, aunts/uncles and siblings what a great time we had in our end of season beach trip to Topsail Island in late August 2009. Weather was great, the fun, but restful area was just what we needed to take a break and spend some time together.

I must tell you that the tour of the Inland Waterway on The Belle of Topsail was our highlight. Capitan David and his "Last Mate" Sharon were a blast and represent your area well. Having a boat myself, I can tell you that the entire crew was top notch and well prepared for our evening voyage and know their way around the water. You can tell they love the place and share great detail in a fun way while on board for the dinner cruise. They were great!!

Hope to see you again next year or maybe sooner. Thanks again!!

Tasting with Topsail 09

Our special thanks to all who made the Third Annual Tasting with Topsail the success it was. On Saturday, September 19 at the Assembly Building more than 120 people enjoyed sampling North Carolina wines from Country Squire and Silver Coast Wineries and wines from around the world from Dionysus and Empire Distributers. Swing Bridge Beer and Wine offered craft beers for sampling. Area member restaurants: Mainsail Restaurant and Commodore Room, Daddy Mac’s Beach Grille, The Brass Pelican, New York Corner Deli and Beauchaines 211 offered tastes of some of the best food on the Island. Chris Luther’s Trio entertained with jazz music while everyone was savoring the offerings. Several artists exhibited wonderful examples of their talent. Door prizes were donated by: Bumblebee Market, Carolina Divers, The Gift Basket, Topsail Island Trading Company, Inis Spa, Thread FX, Silver Coast Winery, and KringleBerry Cottage. We would not have been able to produce such a nice event except for the generosity of our sponsors: The House of Raeford, Tobacco Country USA, US Food Service and Island Treasures.

Sunrise at Topsail

This morning I got up and walked out on the beach at Topsail. Had to share with whoever is thinking of coming this way! Thank God for rentals homes and vacation days!
